WASHINGTON D.C., DC — Arkansas Congressman Steve Womack has confirmed that he missed the U.S. House of Representatives vote on whether or not to release files connected to convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein on Nov. 18.
"I am dealing with a family member’s serious medical issue that requires my presence at home," said Congressman Womack in a statement on Monday before the vote. "After almost fifteen years with a perfect voting record, I am sad to report that my streak will end today."
