A senior was killed in Boucherville on Tuesday morning after he was hit by a car.
Longueuil police (SPAL) responded to a call at around 10:45 a.m. about a collision at the intersection of Fort St-Louis Blvd. and Jacques-Ménard Street in Boucherville.
The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was closed to traffic amid the emergency response.
An investigation is underway, and members of the SPAL’s forensic identification unit have been called in to determine and clarify the details and circumstances of this incident.
