The culinary director of renowned Canadian chef Matty Matheson’s restaurant group says they didn’t initially have eyes on expanding to Hamilton .

But being approached by Oak View Group, the company overseeing renovations of TD Coliseum , about getting involved in the hospitality side of things at the new arena set the wheels in motion.

“Once we sat down, we were like ‘Hey, Hamilton is right for us,’” said Coulson Armstrong of Our House Hospitality Company. “The city just spoke to us through its history and what Copps Coliseum did with getting people to gather together … and we want to continue that tradition.” Restaurants
