12: South Bend St. Joseph (12-1) at Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (11-2), Class 4A, 7 p.m. Friday

These programs have met three times previously in the tournament, the most recent a 41-7 Dwenger win in the 2015 semistate. Dwenger won state that year and again in 2018 (its fifth title) but has not been back to the state finals since then. The Saints’ defense has been outstanding all season, allowing just 8.2 points per game. In a 39-27 win over Lebanon in the regional, Dwenger quarterback Henry Jordan passed for 175 yards and two TDs and ran for 38 yards and two more scores. South Bend St. Joseph has allowed just 21 points in its four playoff games, including a 10-7 win over Hobart in the regional
