WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WFIE) - The Warrick County Emergency Management Agency is looking to make the county a little bit safer.

The agency has recently purchased three new weather stations that will be distributed throughout Boonville, Newburgh and Elberfeld.

With these stations, residents will be able to access live weather data through the Warrick Country EMA Facebook page.

EMA director Matthew Goebel says they got the idea from deputy director Ryan Filson who has a meteorology degree.

They hope these new stations will help ramp up the urgency to be prepared.
