Thanksgiving travel is starting on a strong note for short-term rentals, especially in the Phoenix-Scottsdale market, according to a recent report by short-term rental data provider AirDNA.

Across the country, bookings for the holiday week are currently pacing 7% to 9% above last year’s levels, indicating that families are still prioritizing travel even in a more cautious planning environment, according to press release from AirDNA.

The growth is slightly softer than the roughly 15% lead reported a month earlier, a shift that aligns with the late-September government shutdown, which likely caused some travelers to delay their decisions, the release said.
