ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office charged a man after he allegedly killed a man in an October drive-by shooting.
Abion Brown, 23, of Holly Hill, is charged with murder, according to sheriff spokesman Richard Walker.
Deputies responded to a shooting at Gabby Hall Court house, where they saw 28-year-old Jordan Walters. Witnesses told deputies that a white vehicle had passed Walter’s car traveling on Gabby Hall Court.
Brown allegedly fired a weapon at Walters as the vehicle went by.
“This makes no sense at all, it’s just a senseless act that resulted in someone losing their life,” Sheriff Letoy Ravenell said. “Nothing on earth can justify this, one killed and one throwing his life away.”
Brown was expected to make a court appearance Tuesday.
