The Ludhiana police conducted a cordon and search operation (CASO) in various villages and localities in the city on Tuesday morning. A large police force, accompanied by senior police officials, led the operation under the ongoing campaign against drugs.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Industrial Area-A, Inderjit Singh, ACP (East) Sumit Sood, SHOs of several police stations and in-charges of the police post conducted the operation in Ghora Colony, Ambedkar Colony, Chaunta, Bonkar Gujjran and other places. During the drive, the police arrested seven drug peddlers and recovered drugs from their possession.
