The Iowa Girls Coaches Association (IGCA) released their all-state and academic all-state volleyball teams on Monday, November 17. 16 area players and coaches were included amongst the award winners, which was headlined by Denver's Channing and Jamie Johnson being listed as apart of the Elite All-State team and as class 2A Coach of the Year respectively.

After being named the North Iowa Cedar League Central's player of the year just over a week ago, senior Channing Johnson was one of eight athletes named to the IGCA's Elite All-State team, which consists of the best players across all classes. Johnson was also, in turn, named class 2A first team all-state.
