POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa —
The Pottawattamie County board held its first meeting since the county attorney filed to remove Scott Belt from his position as supervisor.
Court documents alleged Belt went to a bar before a board of supervisors meeting on Nov. 5 and was drinking.

Later at the meeting, the petition said Belt was having problems speaking and was clumsy.
The Chair of the Concerned Citizens of Pottawattamie County spoke to KETV after the meeting
"I am very pleased that the judge has at least temporarily suspended him. I think that it's been a very bad lot for the county. And, I mean, even before the town hall, there were issues of being loud, cutting off other supervisors during meetings, just not treating others well," Shawna Anderson said.
