Murphy, 27, split the 2025 season between the majors and minors. He is 4-2 with a 4.15 ERA in 43 games out of the Red Sox bullpen from 2023-25.

The No. 15 prospect in the Red Sox organization in 2023, Murphy went 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA in 13 games (two starts) for Triple-A Worcester in 2025.
