An East Coast establishment with a “menu rooted in Nova Scotia’s rich waters” has earned top honours on Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2025 Top 10 list.

Located on the Halifax waterfront, Mystic was singled out for its immersive tasting menus that fuse Maritime flavour with a global technique. Led by Chef Malcolm Campbell and his team, Mystic opened in late September of last year.

“This waterfront gem blends coastal warmth with refined elegance, delivering a seafood-forward menu rooted in Nova Scotia’s rich waters,” according to Air Canada. “Signature dishes highlight sustainable, locally sourced ingredients and maritime-inspired flavours, marrying inventive technique with timeless tradition.”
