The Maryland Public Service Commission’s staff has recommended the PSC deny the motion to dismiss an energy company’s application for a highly contested transmission line project.
The staff’s response filed Friday argues the commission is obligated to ensure electric service in the state is “adequate and efficient” as the regional operator PJM Interconnection projects heightened electric grid stability concerns after June 2027.
