Washington County Precinct 3 Commissioner Kirk Hanath has announced he will run for Washington County judge in the March 2026 Republican primary.
Hanath, who has served on the commissioners court since 2004, said in a campaign announcement that he hopes to bring his experience in county government to the county’s top elected position. He cited fiscal responsibility, community collaboration and long-range planning as priorities.
