Jeep officially announced the Recon, a fully electric off-road vehicle, will go on sale in 2026.

The Recon checks a series of niche firsts in the electric vehicle world. It is the first all-electric, trail-rated SUV. It is also the first open-air electric SUV; in Jeep fashion, the doors of the Recon are removable.
