Jeep officially announced the Recon, a fully electric off-road vehicle, will go on sale in 2026.
The Recon, Jeep claims, is the first all-electric trail-rated SUV.
The Recon will cost $65,000, plus a $1,995 destination charge.
Jeep's long-awaited (and oft-delayed) Jeep Recon is officially coming to market.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the company announced the electrified off-roader is finally ready for sale.
The Recon checks a series of niche firsts in the electric vehicle world. It is the first all-electric, trail-rated SUV. It is also the first open-air electric SUV; in Jeep fashion, the doors of the Recon are removable.
The Recon puts out 650 horsepower and can go 250 miles on a full charge at the highest trim level, Moab, which will be available before other versions of the vehicle. Usi
