SRINAGAR: Government Medical College Srinagar on Tuesday conducted the GeM Training Programme for DDOs, dealing assistants, and officials of the Health and Medical Education Department, Kashmir Division, inaugurated by Principal and Dean, Government Medical College Srinagar, Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan Shah.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan Shah appreciated the initiative and added that capacity building improves digital governance in the health sector. She said that GeM adoption is a statutory requirement under GFR 2017 and an essential tool for transparency and financial discipline in procurement. She asked participants to stay attentive, raise questions, and apply these skills in their offices to strengthen procurement and service delivery.
