The Mega Millions jackpot was reset to $50 million for the lottery drawing on Monday, Nov. 18, after someone in Georgia matched all the winning numbers in the drawing on Friday, Nov. 14 .

If someone matches all six numbers, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $23.2 million.

Last week’s winner, who took home a $983 million jackpot, was the fifth different Mega Millions winner in 2025. The other four winners this year bought their winning tickets in Virginia , Ohio , Illinois , and Arizona , taking home a combined jackpot of more than $900 million.
