CLEVELAND -- The Guardians added four prospects to their 40-man roster on Tuesday, ahead of the deadline for teams to protect eligible players from the Rule 5 Draft .
Signings & Trades
Cleveland selected the contracts of infielder Angel Genao and right-hander Yorman Gómez from Double-A Akron and the contracts of right-hander Austin Peterson and outfielder Kahlil Watson from Triple-A Columbus.
The Guardians designated for assignment right-hander Nic Enright. The 40-man roster is now full.
Enright was a reliable reliever this past season. He recorded a 2.03 ERA in 31 innings over 27 appearances. His year was cut short after he went on the injured list on Sept. 4 with right elbow/forearm inflammation, which led to Tommy John surgery on Oct. 29.
