For No. 23 he's on to season No. 23, and with it yet another record.
After missing the first 14 games of the Los Angeles Lakers ' season dealing with sciatica, LeBron James made his season debut on Tuesday, Nov. 18. James' debut marks his 23rd season in the NBA.
James came into the season tied with Vince Carter for most seasons played. Carter played from 1998 to 2020. James was taken first overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Without James the Lakers are off to a 10-4 start to the season, good for the fourth-best record in the Western Conference.
A season ago James played in 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game in 70 games played.
