State Supreme Court justices hear arguments in challenge of initiative petition law

Oklahoma Supreme Court justices heard oral arguments Tuesday on the state’s new initiative petition law, which took effect six months ago. The law affects the state’s process of collecting signatures to get a measure on a statewide ballot. The previous version of law has been successful at legalizing medical marijuana and expanding Medicaid.
