And that's exactly what Curaçao did, as it held Jamaica to a scoreless draw to punch its ticket to the 2026 World Cup. It's the team's first ever qualification along with becoming the smallest ever nation by population to make the quadrennial tournament.
Curaçao joined Panama and Haiti as the three automatic CONCACAF berths for the tournament, as an extra two will enter the playoffs for a second chance.
