An assisted living facility operator accused of fraudulently using a debit card owned by a former resident declined Friday to talk about the case.

Ann Rayle, 76, was arrested on Nov. 10 and released on bond Thursday. Rayle said she’s still operating the All-Care Assisted Living facility at 1001 York Drive in Clovis and has “a couple of beds available.”

But Rayle said she would not discuss the criminal allegations against her.

“There’s enough muckraking going on. Whatever I give out just boils down to crap and I don’t want any more slanderous remarks from people on Facebook,” she told The News in a brief telephone interview.

Police in August began investigating allegations against Rayle when the sister of a former All-Care resident alleged fraudulent practices.
