Srinagar, Nov 19: The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against six individuals for allegedly tampering with official records submitted before the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

The chargesheet in FIR No. 87/2022, registered under IPC Sections 209, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B, was submitted before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar. Those named include Pathan Majid Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Mudasir Yousuf Wani, Ghulam Mohammad Reshi, Bashir Ahmad Dar, and Anoop Mishra, a CAT employee.

The case began after a communication from the Chief Horticulture Officer flagged suspected tampering of documents in TA No. 4100/2021. Investigations later confirmed that records in CAT Srinagar’s custody had been unlawfully altered. Crime Bran
