OLA Group General Counsel Rohit Kumar has moved to Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India as General Counsel replacing Ashok Kumar P , who is joining UltraTech.

Kumar is a 2002 graduate of Symbiosis International University. He has over two decades of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and legal advisory - both in-house and in private practice.

He was associated with JSA and Herbert Smith Freehills before transitioning to in-house roles wherein he worked with UPL and OLA.

As Group General Counsel for Ola Group, Kumar oversaw the legal function for EVs, ride-hailing business/consumer and generative AI.
