A pair of giant pandas from China arrived safely in Malaysia on Tuesday night.

The pandas, named Chen Xing and Xiao Yue, were both taken to the Giant Panda Conservation Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The exchange is part of the ongoing International Cooperation Project on Giant Panda Conservation between China and Malaysia.

Dubbed “Panda Diplomacy,” these exchanges are seen by analysts as part of China's diplomatic efforts to strengthen ties in the region.
