During a pre-wedding celebration in Haryana’s Nuh district on November 16, a dancer was assaulted after objecting to inappropriate behaviour from a groom’s relative. This incident, which took place while dancers were performing, was captured on a mobile phone.

The widely circulated video shows a man with currency notes bringing his hand too close to one dancer, prompting her to slap it away. Offended, he retaliated by striking her, causing a chaotic confrontation.

Several men then climbed onto the stage and surrounded the dancers. The attackers pushed the dancer to the ground and struck her, even using a stick.
