The first Tamworth International Men's Day event was a spectacular success, according to organiser Dale McDonald.
"It was fantastic, and a great way to break the ice as far as International Men's Day goes," Mr McDonald said.
The Tamworth Jockey Club donated space for the event on Wednesday, with Every Occasions Catering providing a free gourmet barbecue for lunch.
"Being the first event we were running on the smell of an oily rag, but we had a few big sponsors step up and donate their services," Mr McDonald said.
Guests included 95.5's Dan Saunders, local boxer and butcher Wayne Hall, and business developer Corie Morris delivering speeches and Q&As.
