New Delhi: Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was deported from the United States and landed in New Delhi on Wednesday in connection with the murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique.

Officials said Anmol was in contact with the shooters involved in the October 12, 2024 killing outside Siddique’s son’s office. The US Department of Homeland Security informed Siddique’s son, Zeeshan, of the deportation in an email stating that Bishnoi was removed from the US on November 18, 2025.

Bishnoi is wanted in multiple high-profile criminal cases, including the May 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and the April 2024 firing outside actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence. He was added to the NIA’s Most Wanted List last year, with a ₹10 lak
