1Woman charged in Southeast DC stabbing weeks after late-night knife attack
WASHINGTON, DC — A 44-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred nearly seven weeks ago during a dispute in Southeast, police said.
The incident took place in the early morning hours of September 29 on the 2400 block of Marion Barry Avenue. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a verbal altercation escalated when a woman pulled out a knife and stabbed another woman around 1:39 a.m. The victim was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The attacker fled the scene before officers arrived.
