New Delhi: The brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi (27), a fugitive on the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) most-wanted list, landed in India Wednesday after the United States extradited him.

Absconding since 2022, Anmol Bishnoi , following his deportation from the US, has been put in the NIA’s custody for his involvement in his brother’s terror-syndicate. He allegedly continued to execute terrorist acts from the US by using operatives on the ground in India.

Anmol Bishnoi was detained last year by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly forging his identity documents. Bishnoi fled India on a passport under a fake name—Bhanu Pratap, son of Rakesh—after the murder of Congress leader and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. Show
