PHILADELPHIA − Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made nine trades during a three-month span from Aug. 4 until the NFL deadline on Nov. 4.
Two of them have paid off in the biggest way possible.
That's not to say Roseman has a poor percentage because in the vast majority, Roseman gave up late-round draft picks to take a risk on players who have either underperformed, never got a chance, or are coming off injuries.
But the two trades that Roseman hit on have helped the Eagles gut out two straight wins. There was the 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 10, followed by the 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions on Nov. 16. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets Need a news break?
