Ryan Gosling is set to return to the big screen with a new space adventure and the latest trailer is filled with tension and mystery. Project Hail Mary, based on Andy Weir’s book, follows the story of a school teacher who wakes up alone in space with no memory of how he got there.

As the trailer reveals, he soon learns that he has been sent on a mission that could decide the future of the planet, as the sun is slowly losing its power. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Sony Pictures has confirmed that the movie will release in India on March 20, 2026.

Interestingly, Weir is the same author who wrote The Martian, which was later adapted into a film by Ridley Scott starring Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain. Just like Mark Watney in Scott’s film, Gosling’s character Ryland Grace
