FRANKFORT, Ky. — Across several data points, Kentucky schools are seeing improvements in learning and student success. The Kentucky Department of Education has released its annual assessment and accountability data for the previous school year, which details those improvements.

“Specifically, our Kentucky students performed at a proficient or distinguished levels at a higher rate during the 24-25 school year and reading and mathematics than they have in previous years,” said Education Commissioner Robbie Fletcher.

Data based on last school year shows improvements in core subjects like math and reading.

93.5% of students graduated high school. That’s number has risen over the last three years.

Districts across the state are also doing their part to ensure kids are not missing school.
