Maharashtra is preparing for one of its biggest connectivity transformations as the state works toward creating a complete Expressway Grid. This network will link distant corners of the state through fast, modern highways, making long journeys smoother and opening new possibilities for development. With the Mumbai–Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway already in operation, and new routes like the Nagpur–Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway and the Mumbai–Goa Konkan Expressway progressing steadily, Maharashtra is laying the foundation for a travel system that connects all major regions with greater ease.

The vision behind the Expressway Grid is to reduce travel time, improve access to remote districts and encourage economic activity in areas that have long remained underserved.
