STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a 35-year-old Staten Island man who was injured while on the job in Queens.
OSHA opened an inspection on Oct. 30, a spokesman for the agency said on Monday.
The employer is listed as Sunrise Office Services, Inc., according to the agency’s website . The website lists an address for the company in St. George.
The agency has up to six months to complete the inspection.
According to a spokesperson for the FDNY, the incident unfolded on Oct. 23 at approximately 9:45 a.m. at Roy Wilkins Recreation Center at 177-01 Baisley Blvd. in Jamaica, Queens.
