DEDHAM, Mass. —

Jury selection continues Wednesday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe, the Massachusetts man accused of killing and dismembering his wife in 2023, after he changed his plea on two counts related to the case.

Nine people were seated within the first day of jury selection Tuesday.

The Cohasset father is accused of killing and dismembering Ana Walshe, 39, around New Year's Day in 2023. Prosecutors allege that Walshe disposed of his wife's remains in dumpsters around the area.

Brian Walshe changed his pleas on counts No. 2 and No. 3. That includes willfully conveying a human body in violation of state law and misleading police. Prosecutors claimed that his interference led to the destruction of his wife's remains.
