A lot of headlines have been popping up across the world about the Women’s National Basketball League. Whether it’s about any dating rumour or any historic milestones, the league is making waves online. In the meantime, a new proposal arrives that could reshape the players’ salaries and benefits.
The league is pushing a new collective bargaining agreement. Sources familiar with the negotiations say the proposal would include revenue sharing and a maximum salary exceeding $1.1 million, available to more than one player per team. The league minimum would rise to over $220,000, with an average salary surpassing $460,000.
