Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has confessed he "ended up in hospital" after a suicide attempt.

The 53-year-old took part in last year's series alongside professional partner Katya Jones, but he faced backlash after footage of Katya pushing Evans' hand away from her waist and declining to high-five him was shown during a live broadcast.

The pair later claimed it was an inside joke to test if home viewers would spot it. He was later axed him from the Strictly tour after he reportedly used "inappropriate language".
