As part of the ongoing efforts to improve Pune city’s traffic flow, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) Omprakash Divte conducted an on-site inspection of the stretch from Gunjan Chowk to the Airport Road, as well as the road between Puru Society and Aeromall.

Following the inspection, the Additional Municipal Commissioner issued several directives to concerned department heads and deputy commissioners to expedite traffic improvement and road development works.

• The Land Acquisition (TDR) department has been instructed to verify whether the land belonging to Bidkar, located beside 509 Chowk and Puru Society, has been acquired as required for developing all three adjoining roads. Once verified, immediate marking of the land must be carried out.
