The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday arrested an Indian Air Force personnel after a young woman levelled serious allegations of cheating, sexual exploitation and breach of trust.

As per the initial reports, the accused, Gopal Chandra Dixit, belongs to Itamati in Nayagarh district and is currently serving as ground staff with the Indian Air Force, posted in Ladakh.

Complaint Lodged At Badagada Police Station

According to police sources, the woman registered a complaint at Badagada Police Station nearly 15 days ago, alleging that Dixit developed a relationship with her by making repeated promises of marriage and later exploited her physically and emotionally. Based on her statement, police registered a case and began tracing the accused.
