Ramgarh: An Agniveer jawan of the Indian Army died during physical training at the Punjab Regimental Centre in Ramgarh Cantonment in Jharkhand on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by the Army on Wednesday, it was mentioned that the young recruit complained of breathlessness when he was undergoing his routine physical training at the Punjab Regimental Centre. ADVERTISEMENT
Jashanpreet Singh (21), from the Lohgargh village in Punjab’s Firozpur district, was administered first-aid and then moved to hospital, but he could not be revived.
“On Tuesday, the 21-year-old recruit complained of breathlessness and was immediately administered first aid before being evacuated to Military Hospital Ramgarh. Unfortunately, he lost consciousness en route,” the Army said.
