Voters in Trafford go to the polls tomorrow (Thursday November 20) in the second local council by-election in as many months.
The ballot in the Hale ward has been prompted by the resignation of Green councillor Owain Sutton on health grounds.
Ballot papers will be counted at Trafford town hall after the polling stations close at 10pm.
There are five contenders vying for the vacant seat. They are: Phil Holt (Reform UK); Natalie Shalom (Conservative and Unionist); Clare Sheridan ( Labour ); Jason Stack ( Liberal Democrats ); Orla Weir (Green).
In October, a by-election in Broadheath saw the return to the council of Dr Kaushik Chakraborty for the Conservatives .
The by-election had been called following the passing of long-serving councillor Denise Western.
