The final supermoon of 2025 will brighten Michigan skies in early December.

The cold moon will reach its peak the evening of Dec. 4, the last of three consecutive full supermoons in 2025, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

Clear skies permitting, the supermoon should appear slightly brighter and bigger than typical full moons, creating what's known as the moon illusion.
