Bhopal: Panic ensued at a restaurant in Bhopal’s Misrod area late Tuesday night after more than 20 masked men stormed in and vandalised furniture and decor, forcing customers to flee for safety, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident, which lasted just about two minutes, occurred around midnight, police said. The attackers reportedly overturned tables, smashed chairs, and damaged decorative items.
The restaurant’s CCTV camera captured the entire episode. A video circulating on social media shows the group entering in masks and immediately throwing and kicking furniture. Customers present at the time can be seen hastily exiting the premises as the men wreaked havoc.
Fortunately, no one was injured, as the attackers did not physically assault any staff or patrons.
