People in Taiwan have been told to stock up on noodles and rice in case of war with China . The country's 23 million population will this week receive a booklet on how to survive natural disasters, emergencies and an a Chinese invasion.
The brochure, issued by the island's Ministry of Defence, insisted: "Any claims that the government has surrendered or that the nation has been defeated is false."
