The Country Music Association announced this year’s winners at the 59th CMA Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville. Zach Top won New Artist of the Year and took the stage with his beer can still in his hand. The Red Clay Strays broke Old Dominion’s years-long winning streak to be named Vocal Group of the Year, and Cody Johnson ended Chris Stapleton’s Male Vocalist of the Year run with his first-ever Male Vocalist victory.
Elsewhere, CMAs host Lainey Wilson won Album of the Year for Whirlwind , and Ella Langley and Riley Green ‘s “You Look Like You Love Me” took home Single of the Year honors.
