A tree has fallen onto the A396 in Bickleigh near Bickleigh Bridge this afternoon (Wednesday, November 19).

The tree, which is affecting traffic in both directions, is causing motorists to divert to access the bridge near the Fisherman's Cot pub.

A witness said that there was heavy traffic as a result of the fallen tree.
