Karimnagar: If anyone is looking for a case study on how welfare schemes are being rolled out under the Congress government over the past two years, a curious scene in Godavarikhani on Tuesday might serve well. A woman, now married and a mother as well, received her long-pending Kalyana Lakshmi cheque, for which her application was filed much before she tied the knot.
She was among 433 beneficiaries who were given Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques by Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj
