Dancing With the Stars pro Daniella Karagach didn’t ignore Dylan Efron‘s request for a hug — she just had something important to attend to backstage.

Karagach, 32, cleared up the confusion in the comments section of a fan’s TikTok on Tuesday, November 18. The video showed Efron, 33, opening his arms up to embrace his partner after they advanced to the season 34 finale, but she walked right by him.

As viewers speculated about whether Karagach intentionally ignored Efron, she replied, “Not you catching me on a mission to pick my wedgie.” She noted in a follow-up response that she owed Efron a hug to make up for it.

The pair have formed a close friendship while competing together on DWTS this season. During Tuesday’s semi-finals, they performed a tango that earned them 27 out of 30 points
