Officials at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport have some words of advice for those traveling during the often-stressful holiday season: Take your time, pack your patience and ask for help if you need it.
Many airports have their busiest days of the year the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday and Monday after. During the Thanksgiving holidays, the Transportation Security Administration expects Sunday to be the busiest day, with 180,000 passengers using Sea-Tac, a 1% increase from last year. That’s a lot of travelers, but not as congested as the height of summer. The airport saw its busiest day ever on Aug. 10 this year.
